The MBSE 2025 will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania on November 5-7, 2025 

Vilnius is an attractive place for participants, being a great Medieval European capital of a
country which nowadays offers the most of System Engineering IT tooling supply globally.

Vilnius is an alluring destination that seamlessly blends history, culture, and innovation.
Nestled at the crossroads of Eastern and Western Europe, Vilnius charms with its
labyrinthine UNESCO-listed Old Town, sleek business district, elegant city centre with
many open squares and parks, and its historic suburbs. The city is compact and walkable,
and its major meeting facilities, hotels, cosy restaurants and attractions are all within
walking distance.  

Vilnius is strengthening its position as a fast-growing innovation hub, recognized for its
unicorns, booming startup ecosystem, and business-friendly environment. As the fastest-
growing ecosystem in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and second-highest in enterprise
value per capita, Vilnius has become a magnet for thriving startups, major foreign
investments, and some of the region’s largest seed rounds. Notably, Vilnius now leads the
EU in cybersecurity, further cementing its reputation as a cutting-edge innovation hub.
2024 marked a breakthrough year for Lithuania’s startup ecosystem, with a total valuation
surpassing €16 billion—a 39x increase in just a decade.

It is planned that venue will be in the center of Vilnius next to the fabulous Vilnius old town. 

 

TRAVELING TO VILNIUS 

  • By plane to Vilnius: Vilnius is only a short flight from most European destinations. Vilnius airport is situated just 15 min from the city center.
  • By plane to Kaunas + bus/car: Kaunas Airport is only 1-1,5 hours drive from Vilnius and is a good alternative.
  • By bus: Vilnius has various connections by international bus companies. See Flixbus, Ecolines or Eurolines.
  • By car: Direction to Vilnius city center.

TRANSPORT IN VILNIUS 

Vilnius is certainly a walkable city, and often times there is no need to use public transportation to get around. But if needed, you can use: 

  • Public transport: The extensive network of public transport connects each of the city’s districts and is easy to navigate. It’s even easier if using public transport journey-planning app, which combines all transport options in real times and lets users compare prices and timing with just a few clicks.  
  • Shared mobility: Bike, car and scooter sharing systems are great for getting around the city, and these services are popular with locals and city guests 
  • Taxi: For those that prefer the convenience of a cab, Vilnius has a lot of reasonably priced taxi options available. From a conventional taxi company to the global giant Uber or more local Bolt
